W.Coast.K Update: Fall ’15 Edition
Well, it’s that time to check in with you guys again. I’m back in school now and aside from the parking, it’s not as bad as I was expecting. I’m actually digging how I can use most of what I’m being taught to take W.Coast.K to the next level. And no, I didn’t forget about my summertime grind update where I said I was going to show you an inside look of the city. I’ve actually been taking pics, but have honestly been too caught up with other things to edit them. So, if you really want to know what’s good around my way, follow me on Instagram @WestCoastKeish
Aside from school and not wanting to be there half the time, I’m feeling the direction the W.Coast.K is starting to head in. It’s always been a site for upcoming talent, but it’s just now starting to get the recognition it deserves after all these years. Which reminds me, that our 3 year anniversary is right around the corner in October. It’s just crazy to me to see something start off as a hobby/way to express myself has turned into something bigger than me and anything I could ever imagine.
To be honest, I never thought that I would still be blogging after all these years, without a vacation. So, please excuse me if I don’t post everyday because it is still only me running everything from features and interviews to marketing and web design. It gets crazy at times juggling everything, but I just don’t feel right not sharing good music and giving upcoming artists a platform to express themselves.
So, with me still getting adjusted to my school schedule and new role as a publicist (yes!), I think I’m going to take a couple of days off to clear my mind, figuratively reformat my hard drive and figure out how everything meshes together. Follow me on Twitter @WestCoastKeish too to know when new features come out and take a look around the archives section in the meantime. You just might find your next favorite artist… #tilnextime
